In 2002, we moved to Skidaway Island in Savannah Georgia from Athens, Ohio. Our home is in a gated community called The Landings. We enjoy the natural beauty of the area with the majestic live oak trees laced with spanish moss and lovely marsh views. Since we love birding, we have over 228 species on this island. Amenities include six golf courses, four elegant club houses, two marinas, 42 miles of bike trails, 34 tennis courts, four swimming pools including two indoor olympic pools, and a fabulous fitness center. We are located 15 minutes from downtown historic Savannah and Memorial Hospital where Hank volunteers at the Gerogia Eye Institute. Furthermore, we have so many opportunities to meet wonderful people. So you see why we think we are truly blessed to have found this new home.
